  • Notes 
    • Bessie Polsgroves' mother died from complications with the child birth of Bessie in 1888. Bessie was so small at birth that they carried her around in a pillow. There is eighteen years difference in her and the closest sister. When Bessie wanted to marry " Skip" Payton her family disowned her. They seem to have come around because we have pictures of her and her sisters.
